Luidop gelachen met hoe slecht dit boek is。 Letterlijk samen te vatten in één zin: sta vroeger op om tijd voor jezelf te nemen om te mediteren, lezen, schrijven, bewegen en affirmaties zeggen。 Ik denk dat ik ook dringend eens een zelfhulpboek moet schrijven om er rijk van te worden。

I liked the book as a whole。 It was my first non-fiction book, which was written in English。 I loved the Miracle Equation and the tactics that were described in that book。 I think it will help me a lot in the future。 Though the book specifies some techniques for the writer, it will help in general, I think。

So this is sort of a motivational book about using the morning to achieve your goals and best self。 I like the idea of making great use of the morning, but it’s not super feasible in my life currently with babies and our schedule, so I wasn’t fully convinced。 I liked its message but didn’t love it。

Pros: The three (perhaps not-so-original) ideas that 1) You are being formed into who you are becoming by what you are currently doing, 2) You need to have a good idea of who you want to become, and 3) You should then start doing things that form you into who you want to become。Cons: Pretty much the rest of the book, especially the parts which suggest that absolutely zero external factors can or should have any effects on your life if your willpower and determination are strong enough。 Unfortuna Pros: The three (perhaps not-so-original) ideas that 1) You are being formed into who you are becoming by what you are currently doing, 2) You need to have a good idea of who you want to become, and 3) You should then start doing things that form you into who you want to become。Cons: Pretty much the rest of the book, especially the parts which suggest that absolutely zero external factors can or should have any effects on your life if your willpower and determination are strong enough。 Unfortunately for naive Hal, we do in fact live in a society。。。 In addition, the over-the-top promises of fulfillment and happiness and success got old very quickly。 Overall the book could've been 1/3 of the length and still gotten each point across。But I would like to think about those first 3 ideas some more。。。 。。。more
